Dear Fellow Friend In The Faith:
I have felt the hopelessness and depression you’re feeling now. Not being able to lose weight and keep it off consistently. That’s because I’ve been there too. There was a time at the beginning of marriage, when I was in my early twenties, that I didn’t have a plan or more so an internal peace concerning my appearance and weight. Sure, I had lost some of the baby weight after the birth of my first son, enough by most people’s standards, but I had confidence at a core level about my body or my fitness level. I was in the yo-yo diets and obsessing over how many calories I burned a day cycle.
The voices inside my head were full of condemnation because the truth was I was constantly sabotaging even when I did build momentary success. Every time I would lose the weight, I would gain it right back, (I gained up to 50 pounds with each of my 4 pregnancy’s) or stress in any form. It became so frequent when my children were young that I didn’t even want to shop for clothes. I hated looking in the mirror and couldn’t stop thinking about my weight, if I would be able to maintian it and what I could eat and what I couldn’t. It affected how I thought about myself, how I believed other people perceived me and my day-to-day emotions. If I did well with my eating I liked myself, If I didn’t, I was a “failure”.
Worst of all, I was really beginning to lose faith and hope in God’s ability to deliver me from the mental torment. That really was worse than the actually weight gain and loss. It was like my whole identity was in a size 6 pair of jeans and when I wasn’t hitting that level, I hated the way I looked. I lived under constant condemnation internally about my appearance. After the birth of my second son, I was ready to go back to the “point system”, the pre-packaged foods and the obsessive exercise classes just to get within a size or two of my former figure. Would I have to be tied in financially to someone weighing me in weekly and signing my card just to ensure I actually lost a a pound? I just knew that I needed a better answer to my emotional swings and serious lack of consistency (And I needed it to last long-term).
One day, I hit rock bottom. The fear and anxiety as I stood in the front of my refrigerator trying to resist cheating was overwhelming. I was tired of feeling shamed for my lack of control, my constant focus on food and I was desperate for a break through. I got up the next morning in prayer, got down on my knees literally and cried out to God. I repented for trusting in food more than HIS ability to deliver me and told him, “If you give me a revelation of exactly what I need to do to gain success, I promise I will obey you as best I know how to do”. At first, I felt more peace just coming to the place where I realized my best efforts were never going to be enough and I needed to surrender and trust.
Then I felt impressed to turn to a specific book of the Bible and it was like light bulbs went off. I did not hear an audible voice but I felt very impressed to do three to five things and to eliminate two or three behaviors and foods I previously never thought anything of. Finally, over the next couple weeks, I just began to make a couple emotional and practical shifts that were huge for me. For the first time, I finally had peace in my mind and heart and was hoping deep down that these strategies were really from the Holy Spirit. More so, that if I continued to stay consistent with them, I would see the results I was hoping for.
At that moment, I made a commitment (to God, but mostly to me) to spend the amount of time in prayer needed to really get to the root of why I had not been able to build clarity and consistency concerning my physical identity. I read every book I could on inner healing and identifying how to get free from generational idolatry with food, alcohol and other addictive behaviors. I had grown up in an alcoholic home and knew I was destined to live under those compulsions unless I did the work to get free. I searched the internet and went to see every speaker I could that I felt was anointed to help bring deliverance to people concerning these issues.
Presenting…
Trust me I worked hard to be obedient to what I believed the Holy Spirit had shared with me. Sometimes, when I was exhausted from homeschooling and being the mother of four children all under the age of 8, I cried from sheer exhaustion. Other times, I just wanted to give up hope and go back to the quick fixes. But there was this little voice inside my mind saying “You will love the results if you just stick with it. It is not about you, but about my grace and reflecting my glory in your life, just be obedient one day at a time.” For the next decade and a half I experienced God’s grace, peace and consistent success with my my weight and physical identity.
Then in 2005, I had one of the most challenging years of my adult life. Every area of my core identity came under attack. My mothering, my friendships, my ministry call and lastly my finances with an ID theft for almost a million dollars. I was spiritually and physically exhausted and was at the end of my proverbial rope. The truth? I had lost all my confidence, all my momentum due to the shame and I was just hiding out trying to survive. Although I had spent two decades breaking out of food and alcohol addictions, I was contemplating prozac and drinks with little umbrella’s in them. (Can we just be real here?) I didn’t just need a vacation, I needed a WHOLE NEW IDENTITY inside and out. Again, I just began to pray for a complete identity over haul and the beginning of my bold physical identity came in the form of a simple invitation from a friend to run. My initial answer? I’m not a runner. Days went by and I wrestled with the invitation because in my heart I knew I knew if I wanted different results I was going to have to be willing to get out of my comfort zone.
In the beginning, it was impossible for me to jog more than 100ft at a time because my cardio was so low. We made it a game to try and run a little further everday. By the end of a month of running three times a week were able to do three miles. I felt stronger and began to slowly move out the fog I had found myself in and began to notice small changes in my clarity, confidence and strength level. And then, like every other shift I have made in my life from famine to feasting, I was asked to step up to the plate in a big way by committing to a half marathon.
The problem was, I was hesitant and afraid I would train for three whole months and fail in front of thousands of people on race day. I had grown up an asthmatic, wasn’t an athlete and I was 40 years old. No spring chicken. I had four kids and what if I injured myself during training? I couldn’t afford any time off. Well, long story short, I trained, finished my half marathon and experienced so much breakthough, confidence and power in almost every area of my life I almost began to feel guilty that I wasn’t stressed like those around me were. Almost:) Then, a bigger invitation came. Would I train for a full marathon? Agghh. Again, more terror, more thoughts of potential catastrophic failure. The hours it would take to train up to 19 and 22 mile runs. (I mean it took me a summer to get to 3-5 miles, so that was WAY out.of my ability to think big).
But then, my husband asked me the one question that completely redefined my identity from 40 on! But, IF you finish, what would that mean to you? I answered quickly and forcefully. “If I could finish a marathon at forty with no experience, I could build and complete anything”. By God’s grace, I overcame every obstacle (and I had numbers of them come against me in that three month time) and finished despite record heat. In less than 9 months, I had gone from depression, hiding and couch potato to BIG BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY. What was even more powerful were the shifts I began to see in my personal life, finances and relationships. Literally, walk/running a half marathon was the beginning of huge increase for me in every area of my life. I then began to use the prayerful and practical strategies, I built during this time to help train teams to raise money for orphanages, the homeless and other global causes.
So, being one that loves to combine revelation with militant action and who also believes in non-complicated SYSTEMS, I made it my goal to put it all in one place and find another expert who shared my passion for breaking individuals out of mental limitations in a faith based way. I knew that the process I had experienced was powerful because I had already replicated it in dozens of clients and with multiple teams watching the impact and consistent success it had built for others. I wanted each step to be simple, repeatable and I wanted it to last for myself and those I partnered with. It did and I watched client after client lose weight, gain more clarity and peace and enjoy a new found confidence and stability from building a whole new
BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY.
By The Grace Of God I Built A BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY AND YOU CAN TOO!
Today, I integrate these coaching techniques into helping entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders utilize half marathons to create passion and provision for themselves and their organizations. I have the privilege of working beside influential leaders from all over the nation who are likewise burdened to not just build a big bold identity for themselves but use it to impact others globally. It has completely changed my life, changed my client’s lives and allowed me to be a conduit for wealth for the oppressed, broken hearted and fatherless. I love the way I look at almost 50, I can out work and run my kids who are in their twenties and best of all, I am living PASSIONATELY AND PURPOSEFULLY.
How did I do this? By identifying the root of where I was sabotaging myself and implementing small strategic actions on a daily basis. I took the best of all that I received from the Holy Spirit in prayer and combined it with a simple and reproducible plan that had enabled me to break out of food and other addictions. Once my “system” was in place, I began to watch other people magnetize toward me and ask if they could join me in building a new physical identity. By the way, none of these strategies are complicated, so don’t think you have to be athlete to build this.
So, here is YOUR personal invitation!
After watching client after client get their breakthough, I decided to create this system so that you could experience the same clarity, the same breakthrough and a whole new BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY like I did. It just so “happened”, that right when I decided to create a system, I was introduced to Christian Health Wellness Coach and Radio Producer, Bonnie MeChelle. We began to talk about our childhoods, breaking out of limiting thoughts and barriers and I decided right then and there that NOW was the time to help Christians use half-marathon to overcome the depression and delay the past couple years economically have created. It was right then and there that I knew NOW was the time to get this system done so we could use it to help people move out of the chao’s and depression that the economy had created in people’s lives, families and businesses. As we began training, idea’s flowed about how to serve people passionately and powerfully.
There is no better time to DO THE WORK so that you separate yourself from feelings of financial victimization and relational disconnect.I’ve worked with private clients for years, spoken on television and radio, and have created the BOLD IDENTITY SYSTEMS to enable faith based individuals to get the internal and external breakthough they need to build more PASSION and PROVISION for themselves and the underprivileged. |
Today, all I teach, speak, coach and write about is how to build a BIG BOLD IDENTITY, nothing else. I’m here to tell you that there’s hope and what God does for one person he will do for you. I do this because it concerns me deeply to see so many gifted and smart Christian’s who really love God, unable to tap into their full potential not knowing how to step into a new identity and have the clarity and stregnth to sustain it. Now that I know how to launch and grow new identies, I’m here to decalare NOW IS YOUR TIME!
I have spent 5 years taking every single aspect of what’s worked for me and my hundreds of coaching clients and put it very specifically into an e-book system I called the “Bold Physical Identity”.
Most of us have never been taught this in our home’s or our churches so it’s easy to see why people struggle with building these principles into their lives. The good news is, once we’re taught EXACTLY what to look for from our past and what to do NOW to redefine it, then we will start seeing REAL RESULTS. That is, when we are ready to take militant action.
Now, imagine yourself crossing the finish line, your fist high in the air,
Saying, YES!!! I DID IT!
I just completed a HALF MARATHON. There is no feeling like it in the world, (as many times as I finish one) especially when you share that experience with friends and family who you have helped build a big bold physical identity! The cool thing is, when you signing up for your race, you will watch your action inspire other’s and together you will accomplish more faster! I love the aconomym for team. Together Everyone Achieves More!
The Bold Physical Identity E-Book System™
Will Show You Exactly How YOU Can Do It TOO!
So what is the Bold Physical Identity System™? It is a complete faith-based system geared towards helping you build the mental and physical strategies to walk/run your first 5k, 10k or HALF-MARATHON. It is a compilation of absolutley everything I have learned from all the inner healing work I had to move out limiting belief systems AND strategies from myself and Bonnie MeChelle on losing weight in a healthy way.
Simple. Helping you get results that last. Why? So you can live a bold and confident life and use it to live purposely and powerfully. That is why we called it Bold Physical Identity. Here’s the bottom line, if you are comfortable you are not living up to your potential. There is nothing is life that is worth pursuing whether it is a passionate marriage, a career that light’s you or that one dream you have had for years that you keep putting on the back burner that can be pursued without your health. Your health and your ability to think clearly and strategically is directly related to what you eat, how much time you invest in exercising and WHO you are hanging around. Doubt that?
Here’s a quick thought. Your two or three closest relationships are WHO YOU ARE IDENTITY WISE. If they are positive, energetic, financially stable and physically strong people, chances are you will be too. If when you think of your those individuals you wince to think they might be a composite of you, then you are in the right place at the right time:). Here’s the bottom line. I want to help you transform the world by beginning with yourself. I want to empower you to move from couch potato to a whole new BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY. I want to encourage you that if you are hopeless, you are in the right place. If you are depressed, you are in the right place. If you have never been an athlete, you are in the right place. Here is what this system will help you do:
- Why You Want To LAUNCH Into A New Bold Physical Identity: Unfortunately, however, we live in a superficial world where people do judge by appearance. We would all love to say that we have never judged someone based on the way they look or dress, but the truth is, we have all done so at one time or another. An interesting study done by Princeton researchers scientifically proved that people make lightning fast, cognitive decisions based solely on appearance, when it was thought the decisions were based on more logical measures. What you will find out in this chapter will help you realize why if you want to grow financially, spiritually and relationally, it is imperative for you to present a bold physical identity to the world
- How to Build Mental Toughness: People who build and KEEP a BOLD identity do so because they have an ability to concentrate their efforts and energy on the physical results they want to maintain long-term. To block out anyone or anything that prevents them from fully focusing on WHO they want to become. While average individuals are happy with “looking good” or feeling “okay,” people who build a BOLD physical persona invest consistent time into selecting relationships and activities that keep them challenged and at the peak of their mental performance. The payout for this level of intense focus, specifically for entrepreneurs and ministry leaders, is an increased ability to process stress in a healthy way and also to “think and operate”in a top performance capacity. In this chapter you will find out where and why you might be sabotaging your own success mentally.
- Growing With Grace: Now, we are going to address the HOW’s of nutrition while you are training, so that your BOLD Physical Identity will be maintainable long-term. Later on in our material, we will be empowering you to build the internal identity to stay consistent. There is nothing more frustrating than to invest the time and money into building towards a goal, achieve it, and then lack the ability to maintain your victories. In this chapter you will learn how to support your training with nutrition that is balanced and healthy and in a way that you can maintain long-term without crazy yo-yo diets.
- Now You’ve Gone To Meddling…In the last section, we talked about what types of foods can help you build success in small portions. Now, if I may, I would like to stick my finger in your Kool-Aid … by creating a challenge for you that will add a turbo booster onto your weight loss. Although it may be a real sacrifice, this one strategy has the capacity to really create a high level of focus and a BOLD, new, physical identity more quickly. I am not your pastor or your family physician. However, I do want to share with you some thoughts from coaching hundreds of people out of sabotage into success and from extricating myself out of addictions [which completely diluted the clarity I needed to grow my vision powerfully]. Learn how to ramp up your success in Chapter 4!
- Stress~A positive motivator or negative one: We live in an information age that downloads new technology daily that must be integrated into our personal lives and organizations if we are to remain compet-itive. However, as you seek to build a BOLD, Physical Identity, this stress, can actually be a positive motivator to help you cope with life’s challenges if utilized correctly. On the other hand, it can be a negative if the unharnessed effects of it wreak havoc on your emotions and identity. In this section you will learn how to press through stress and stay purposed and paced.
- Your Sick: To Train Or Not To Train, That Is The Question: People who want to build a bold physical identity are required to take on a postal-like mentality in order to be successful. “Neither rain, nor snow, nor pesky neighborhood dogs will keep me from working out. However, it is only a matter of time before you catch a bug or like me, have to fight off pnemonia in the middle of training or my first marathon which I was already nervous about finishing. Have you ever wondered when your being a wimp and when you need to STOP? This will clearly define for you when to press through and when NOT TO.
- Clarity = Consistency: Can you relate to this line of thinking? “Well sure, I have been successful for x amount of time but I doubt this momentum will last”. I have heard this from numerous clients and yes, I used to have the very same thought going through my mind every-time I started a new diet, an exercise class, job or a relationship that was going well. Sure others deserved financial success, faithful friends and marriages, fulfilling ministry partnerships, prosperous business ventures, healthy and fit bodies, but not me. Deep in my heart and unknowingly, the message I sent myself when ever I began to experience success was that I deserved to struggle. What does that look like in your every day life? I will show you so you can begin to break out and into the altitude of success you were meant to operate at.
- Using Your Passion To Pioneer Provision For Yourself and Others True success always means reaching a hand back to transfer a baton of clarity and provision to someone behind us. There is no greater feeling in the world then to know you have impacted and equipped someone to build success who is isolated and discouraged with their lack of results. One of the most effective and practical ways to ensure your maintain your results is to invite other individuals to train or partner with you. Your end result to this system is not just to run your first 5k, 10k or half-marathon. It is to reproduce a BOLD PHYSICAL IDENTITY in others. Remember, the top three New Year’s Resolutions for people every year are weight loss, finances and more time with their loved ones.
In addition to these sections, the system includes dozens of tips, video’s and key strategies you need to know to build a Bold Physical Identity and keep it long-term. You will be modeling a powerful and purposed life and end frustrating cylces of self sabotage. Lastly, you will be able to use this system to impact and influence by creating your own Bold Identity Teams that can raise money for the charities and causes of your choice.
